Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure

  1. Admission for B.Arch. shall be made on the basis of the inter se merit of NATA through on-line and off-Campus counseling by HSTES. Process for admisisons usually starts from the Month of April.
  2. Registration for counseling would be done on www.tehadmissions.gov.in. Locking of submitted choices is compulsory.
  3. Three phased Counseling will be conducted for admission of COA Approved B.Arch. Courses for all the seats of Govt. Aided/University Departments & 75% seats of Private Engg. Institutes only .
  4. Institutions shall make admission against 25% of the sanctioned seats at their own level. The vacant/leftover/unfilled seats, if any, as notified by HSTES on website after 3rd phase of counseling, shall also be filled by the institutes.
  5. After the result of counseling, candidate is required to deposit course fee with alloted institution, failing which the candidate shall not be considered for subsequent phases of counseling and would be out of counseling procedure. The deposition of token admission fee will enable the candidate to upgrade the allotted seat in 2nd & 3rd phase of counseling, if seats are available. Same procedure shall be followed for 2nd & 3rd phase of counseling. For details refer Counseling Procedure.
  6. The institute will provide the online generated admission slip to the candidate after successful joining.
  7. Fulfilling eligibility for B.Arch. w.r.t. qualification and percentage of qualifying exam shall be proved by the candidate not at the time of seat allotment but during reporting at respective institute prior to final cut off date for admissions. The candidate may seek admission at his/her own risk and cost and he/she is found in eligible and the time of reporting his/her entire dues shall be forfeited and his/her admission shall be cancelled for which he/she shall have no claim, whatsoever.
  8. In the event a student/candidate withdrawing before the starting of the course, the wait-listed candidates shall be given admission against the vacant seat. The entire Fee collected from the student, after a deduction of the processing fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs One Thousand Only) shall be refunded by the Institution and University to the student/candidate withdrawing from the program.
Note:
  1. All originals and 3 sets of attested photocopies of all applicable documents/testimonials/certificates must be brought at the time of reporting.
  2. The original certificates shall be returned back after verification.
  3. The 3 sets of attested copies of certificates/documents/testimonials will be verified & signed by the Director/Principal or his authorized representative and will be retained for registration purpose with the HSTES and subsequently in the University.
